Down on Main Street: Part of Vermillion's Story through Time
Students from Dr. Crystal Sheedy's Ethnographic Methods course took the semester to figure out the story of three locations on Main Street, Coyote Twin Theater, The Bean, and XIX Brewing Company. For each location, they dove into the archives to figure out what the space was like in the past. Then, they explored each location and chatted with staff and patrons from the past to today to figure out how people experienced the space through time. This event showcases their efforts as they present their findings from their semester-length projects.
This event is free and open to the public. The first 20 guests get a free small popcorn and small drink.
